Nicholas Delmonte joined Blue Cardinal Capital as a partner in February 2018 and is responsible for developing the strategy, structure and legal framework of funds and asset managing fund-owned real estate. He is also chair of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Before joining Blue Cardinal, Nicholas worked on the executive team at Hart Hotels where he focused on improving operational efficiencies and financial performance of their hotels while optimizing the company’s portfolio structure through development, financing and asset repositioning.
Prior to Hart, Nicholas spent over ten years in New York City and Washington, D.C. asset managing over $2 billion of commercial property for top-tier real estate companies such as Jones Lang LaSalle, CW Capital, and Denihan Hospitality Group. He completed his analyst training program in Real Estate Capital Markets for Wells Fargo (formerly Wachovia Securities) in Chicago.
Nicholas is an active member of NeighborWorks America’s Western New York affiliate that helps families of all income levels purchase and maintain a home. He lives with his wife and son in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village. He is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where he majored in Real Estate Finance and Hospitality Management.
